On December 5, 2001 the Reverend Bruce E. Mason, Rector of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Luzerne, New York, will speak on “Recovering Truth in a Twitter World.” The presentation will be held from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Room 127 (The Red Pit), Kirner-Johnson Building, Hamilton College.

Reverend Mason’s talk is sponsored by the Alexander Hamilton Institute’s (AHI’s) Christopher Dawson Society, an organization comprised of students and laypersons who together explore the relation between religious belief and reason within the Western intellectual tradition. Dawson Members are currently reading C.S. Lewis’s Screwtape Letters under the supervision of AHI Charter Fellow Douglas Ambrose.

Father Bruce, a Hamilton College graduate, received a Bth (MDiv equivalent) from Wycliffe Hall at Oxford University. He serves on the Board of the American Anglican Council.

The event is open to the public.
