“The Art of Peace: Engaging in a Complex World,” by Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization (AHI) Senior Fellow Juliana Geran Pilon, was recently reviewed by David S. Maxwell in Small Wars Journal. In his review, Maxwell highly recommends the book stating:
“Any book that is praised by Gen.(R) James N. Mattis, LTG H.R. McMaster, and Morihei Ueshiba is one that should be read, highlighted, tabbed, and re-read by students of strategy and those who aspire to develop and implement policy and national security strategy. In short, if you want to “do strategy” read this book.”
Dr. Pilon is a Senior Fellow at the Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization and a renowned scholar who has taught at the National Defense University, George Washington University and has held post-doctoral fellowships at Stanford’s Hoover Institution and the Institute for Humane Letters. He is the author of a number of acclaimed books and over 200 articles.
