Catholic Charities Oneida/Madison County hosted the 4th Annual HalloWine Fundraiser on October 19 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization (AHI) in Clinton, NY.  The event featured gourmet hors d’ oeuvres, wine, beer, and mead tastings.  Also featured were raffle baskets, music, and the Ghost Seekers of Central New York.  The Ghost Seekers shared findings of a paranormal  investigation they completed at the Institute prior to the event.

Approximately 230 guests were in attendance and this event raised over $14,000 for the programs of Catholic Charities.  Locally, Catholic Charities serves 10,000 people annually.  Services offered include community residences for the mentally ill, mental health counseling, runaway & homeless youth services, community assistance, a food pantry, parenting programs, residential camp (Camp Nazareth), and CYO basketball.  These programs serve those most in need and often the poorest in our community.

Organizers expressed many thanks to Bob Paquette and the wonderful staff at the AHI for generously hosting the event and sincerely appreciate assisting in Catholic Charities mission to Create Hope & Transform Lives in our community.
