AHI Sponsors Series of Lectures on Gouverneur Morris, "Father of the Constitution"

On October 13, Chris Bissex, visiting Professor, Department of Political Science, College of the Holy Cross, spoke on Gouverneur Morris and the Constitution to students in History 210 and the lecture was sponsored by the Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization (AHI). Morris (1752-1816), one of the most important of the founders, played a major role in the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia.

Dr. Bissex received his Ph. D. in Political Science from Baylor University in 2014. His wrote his dissertation on Morris.
