NAS is one of foremost organizations in the United States that aims at educational reform.  Peter Wood, an anthropologist, a good friend of AHI, serves as president.  According to its website, the organization “upholds the standards of a liberal arts education that fosters intellectual freedom, searches for the truth, and promotes virtuous citizenship.”

“I am honored that NAS has chosen me for board membership. Working with likes of Peter Wood, Ward Connerly, Bruce Gilley, and Amy Wax,  I am ready to get started in their vital mission of preserving intellectual freedom and liberal arts education.”
