Dr. Mary Grabar, Resident Fellow of The Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization (AHI)  discusses the recent Civics Bill in The Epoch Times.  According to the article “The proposed “Civics Secures Democracy Act,” introduced in Congress on March 11, involves handing out $1 billion per year in federal grants over six years for K–12 curriculum development, teacher training, and research on the teaching of history and civics. Some of the money will go toward encouraging and supporting student political activism.”

Grabar states in the article that she “sees the measure as “a frightening culmination of what I’ve been observing for the last two decades.”
