The Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization (AHI) is pleased to announce the schedule for the Eighth Annual Summer Conference, June 20-21 at 21 W. Park Row, Clinton, New York.   The AHI co-sponsors the annual conference with the Department of Political Science, Baylor University, Waco, Texas. This year’s conference will focus on “The Cold War and American Statesmanship.”  Professor David Clinton, Chairman, Department of Political Science, Baylor University, will lead the discussion.  Dr. Clinton received his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia and has published extensively on international relations.  His books include The Realist Tradition in Contemporary International Relations (2007) and Tocqueville, Lieber, Bagehot: Liberalism Confronts the World (2003)

AHI Senior Fellows David and Mary Nichols, both from the Department of Political Science, Baylor University, have organized this year’s conference.  Panelists will include members of the department as well as the AHI’s David Frisk and Mary Grabar.
