In the October 5 issue of the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS), Juliana Geran Pilon, Senior Fellow at The Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization (AHI), demands that we take a closer look at the meaning of fascism by examining its history.  In “Fascism Re-Examined,” Dr. Pilon maintains that fascism and communism had common enemies in liberalism and capitalism.  Thus, the illiberalism of such contemporary movements as Antifa, with its attendant anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism, should come as no surprise.

Dr. Pilon, an expert in national security, earned her Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Chicago. Her most recent book is The Utopian Conceit and the War on Freedom (2019).
